Produbanco Ekopark

Produbanco is one of the most important financial institutions in Ecuador, with more than 100 agencies throughout the country and 3,100 workers. Despite its long history (more than 40 years), since 2014 it has been part of the Promerica Group. As a result of the merger of these two companies, the company decided to install its new headquarters in the EKOPARK Corporate Center with which it sought to refresh and relaunch its corporate image as a solid and cutting-edge bank.

This important project consisted of both the design of its new office headquarters, as well as a modern, agile, and open banking agency. The design of both spaces was developed by Contract Workplaces, which worked around the concepts of transparency, openness, dynamism, and modernity to contrast with the classic image that has accompanied the institution since its inception.

The general scheme of the proposal was organized under the concept of open space, allowing the bathrooms and storage areas to be located at the building’s core. This allowed for meeting rooms, which are the focal point on each floor, to be distributed around the core. The semi-enclosed spaces, collaboration areas, and workstations were strategically placed to make the most of both natural lighting and the impressive views of the Pichincha Mountain, in such a way that the view is not obstructed from any point.

The project has many amenities such as a gym, multipurpose rooms, terraces for events, nursing, dining rooms, game rooms, changing rooms, art galleries, Coffee Points, kiosks, training rooms, and an innumerable number of spaces for collaboration.

Being located inside a modern building, the proposal also enjoys state-of-the-art technology, from home automation solutions, and high-efficiency equipment and systems (including a room reservation system and a virtual secretary), making Produbanco’s new headquarters, a modern, agile, flexible, and welcoming space for both its staff and its clients.
