As CHUBB is the largest property and casualty insurance company in the world, the firm sought to ensure that its new headquarters in Quito would not only reinforce the solidity and transparency of the company for its clients but also reflect a modern and dynamic company, where the space fosters the team’s communication and collaboration.

The most characteristic features of the design were the principle of transparency and openness present throughout the open workspaces, collaborative areas, and social areas, such as the large terrace. Being located within the EKOPARK Corporate Center, the project had to make the most of the surrounding views and daylighting available.

Through the creation of open, collaborative workspaces and the elimination of closed offices, the proposal manages to create a casual and more relaxed environment for its teammates, to provide a unique experience not only to CHUBB clients but also to not its own team.

Looking for a more dynamic design, spaces were created to encourage the use of outdoor spaces, while enjoying the spectacular views and landscape. Being located on the top floor of the building, a large terrace was integrated into the proposal, as an area for recreation and relaxation. This large terrace was fully equipped with comfortable furniture, beautiful landscaping, and mini-golf from which views of the compound and the mountains can be fully enjoyed.
